December 2024 - Holidays & Family Traditions Santa's Workshop & PJ week The art room house transformed with stockings hung by the chimney with care. There were reindeer antlers, Santa hats, and pretend cookies. The preschoolers took turns filling pretend presents and putting them under the tree. Santa's workshop was in the big room. We took turns ordering toys from the elves that worked in the workshop. They enjoyed building toys, pretending to be Santa, and playing family on Christmas day. The week before our holiday break was PJ week and the kids enjoyed making forts and being cozy! September 2024 - Back to School Getting Started Starting preschool is not only a transition for our children, but also an exciting moment for parents, as they witness the first steps towards their little one's educational journey. With friendly teachers and new kids to meet, preschool provides a safe and nurturing space for children to grow both academically and emotionally. Our kiddos are learning to play together, use scissors and glue, recognize emotions, and so much more. We are excited to begin a new year of preschool! Look How I've Grown As the days roll on and the calendar pages flip, we find ourselves marveling at the incredible journey of children growing up. From chubby-cheeked cherubs to curious explorers, they transform before our eyes, leaving behind a trail of mismatched socks…

Summer Camps – 2024

Summer Camps Exploring Our City Our summer camps take us all over the city. We are lucky to have many great destinations nearby such as Endion Park, Bagley Nature Area, and Chester Bowl. Sometimes we even go all the way down to Lake Superior!  Kaleidescope Each summer one of our favorite activities is Kaleidoscope: the magical children’s programs offered for free on the outdoor stage at the library.Magicians, singers, acrobats, and other talented performers dazzle children sitting on chairs and blankets and feeling the warmth of a summer day. In the course of beguiling the kids with astonishing acts, performers remind children that they can learn to do these things, too, and more, by checking out books. And for a little while, the impossible becomes a little more possible, and…
