Welcome to Congdon Creek Preschool

CCP is located on the ground floor of the Pilgrim Congregational church at 23rd Ave. E. and 4th St. in Duluth, MN. We enroll children ages 3 to 5 years and offer both part-time and full-time schedules. Our preschool is open from Autumn to Spring and we also offer summer camps.

At CCP we believe in creating opportunities for children to play and learn, while instilling a sense of pride and accomplishment in their achievements. The teachers at Congdon Creek practice a positive child guidance model when working with unwanted behaviors. We promote social/emotional growth as well as academic progress, incorporating the Early Childhood Indicators of Progress (ECIP) into our curriculum.

Learning Through Play

The early years are critical in developing the mind and body. The curriculum at CCP allows each child to learn through playing and interacting with peers and teachers. There is a different theme incorporated each month and the children are offered new dramatic play, fine muscle, and large motor opportunities.

Meet Our Staff

     Our highly qualified and caring staff provide an environment where children feel safe and accepted while learning to trust and care about themselves and others. All teachers are certified CPR/AED and First Aid administration. Your child’s preschool experience will be filled with exploration, encouragement, patience, and support.

The  summer camps at CCP are designed to get the children outside as much as possible – exploring the parks, creeks, and neighborhoods in Duluth. The available spots are limited and we usually fill up quickly so make sure to sign up early!
