November 2023 - Feeling Thankful, Grocery Store and Healthy Habits

November is all about healthy habits and learning about different foods. We talk about how we need to eat a variety of foods to stay healthy and learn about foods from other cultures around the world. The preschoolers took turns running a pretend grocery store and being customers.
We are thankful for our families!
The preschoolers took time to make a group soup for our families to enjoy. We hosted a lunch and offered 3 types of soup! They were proud of the vegetables they cut up and loved having lunchtime with family. We had a great turn out and are so thankful to everyone who came to participate.
Healthy Habits
The white room turned into a “doctor office” and the big room became an “eye exam office”, “dentist”, and “restaurant”. Staying healthy means taking care of our bodies in many ways and the preschoolers learned about why it is important to go see the dentist, eye doctor and doctor regularly. They took turns being a doctor or dentist and patient. They had so much fun!
